Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop HVAC service technicians.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, performance reviews, and field training.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor technician productivity, conversion rates, average ticket value, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead team meetings and training sessions focused on technical and sales development.

Service Operations:

  • Oversee daily residential HVAC service operations.
  • Ensure technicians are properly dispatched and equipped for success.
  • Monitor service quality and adherence to company standards.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns and service issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive service revenue through effective coaching and leadership.
  • Train technicians to identify opportunities for repairs, replacements, upgrades, and indoor air quality solutions.
  • Monitor sales performance and establish KPI-driven goals.
  • Partner with comfort advisors and installation teams to maximize lead conversion.
  • Promote maintenance agreements and customer retention programs.
  • Develop strategies to increase average ticket value and overall profitability.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Monitor customer feedback and online reviews.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Implement best practices that enhance the customer experience.

Financial Management

  • Manage departmental budgets and expenses.
  • Review technician performance metrics and profitability reports.
  • Track revenue goals and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Analyze opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and replacement systems.
  • Proven track record in service sales and team performance management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to analyze business metrics and develop action plans.

Preferred

  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software.
  • EPA Certification.
  • NATE Certification.
  • Experience managing maintenance agreement programs.
  • Prior experience in a residential home service company.

Pay Transparency:

 

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $95k-$130K annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.

 

We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
